AUDITION DATES FOR FIDDLER ON THE ROOF

Tuesday, Sept. 2nd
4:00pm-7:00pm

Suggested audition times (by grade):
4:00pm-5:30pm   7th grade-12th grade
5:30pm-7:00pm   1st grade- 6th grade

Wednesday, Sept. 3rd
4:00pm-7:00pm

Suggested audition times (by grade):
4:00pm-5:30pm   7th grade-12th grade
5:30pm-7:00pm   1st grade- 6th grade

Call Backs: (by invitation)
Friday, Sept. 5th
4:00pm-7:00pm

Students chosen for call backs will be given a ‘side(s)’ to prepare and song to go over
at the conclusion of their general audition.  However, musically, boys should be familiar with “If I Were a Rich Man” and girls should be familiar with “Matchmaker” and
“Far From the Home I Love” as those will be the songs sung for call back auditions. 

WHAT TO BRING:

Actors (7th-12th grades):
1. 16 bars of a ballad selection;16 bars of an up-tempo selection
(please know entire song; you may be asked for more than your 16 bars)
2.  choose ‘side’ to read (can print from website)
3. Headshot and resume
4. *no dance for open audition

Actors (1st-3rd grades):     (will be auditioned in small groups)
1.  will be taught small portion of song from show
2.  will do short “dance step”
3.  read children’s side selection (by gender; print from website)
4.  Picture/ headshot and information sheet

Actors (4th-6th grades):
May choose audition requirements for either age group above.
